Since 2016, Aretha's Jazz Jam has been educating less-experienced jazz musicians and giving veterans a locale in which to play and network. Originally created as an education-jam, it's accessible for everyone with a "no vibing" policy. Helmed by myself on piano, Jordan Schug on bass, and Dave Zwolinski on drums, we work hard to provide a safe jam for musicians to work on their stage "chops". The jam meets on Sundays from 7-10pm.
